TRENBot is the first client of the API. Anyone who already passes the configured channel and blocked-user checks can request the connected owner's shared summaries. Discord administrators connect one Paggered account to a channel; Twitch remains on the original pilot until broadcaster linking is separately approved.

Discord slash commands

Discord uses public /pags subcommands. /pags connect is administrator-only and returns its short-lived setup link privately. The names last30 and saved-workout are expanded for clarity in the slash-command picker. Saved workouts accept a case-insensitive full name, a unique name prefix, or the displayed 1-5 shortcut. Ambiguous names ask for the full title instead of guessing.

Runtime behaviour

  • One response per command, capped at 450 characters.
  • Details show the first five exercises, then append +N more.
  • Profile data is cached for one hour, lists and stats for 30 seconds, and details for two minutes, with the connected channel included in every cache key.
  • HTTP calls time out after five seconds and are never automatically retried.
  • Each caller and each platform has a ten-second cooldown; Retry-After creates local backoff.
  • Paggered commands and replies bypass AI, facts, passive chat, conversation memory, and persistent bot history.

Public replies and recovery

  • Paggered slash commands and their replies are public to people who can see the Discord channel. The administrator-only setup link is short-lived and sent privately.
  • An unlinked or disconnected channel receives a connection-required response without revealing which Paggered account was previously linked.
  • If Paggered returns a rate limit, TRENBot waits for the supplied Retry-After period before accepting another request.
  • A failed command gets one truthful response. TRENBot never automatically retries a request or posts private account, setup-token, or provider details into the channel.

Enable safely

Deploy TRENBot with PAGGERED_API_ENABLED=false first. Register the Discord commands, validate a direct request against Paggered staging, then enable the Discord service. Twitch account linking remains deferred. Disable TRENBot before disabling connection resolution or rotating the Paggered token during rollback.
